  • Tanja, Laboratory Chemist at NextPharma

For Tanja, there is only one option. Onwards and upwards. Tanja, a Laboratory Chemist, works in the Quality Assurance department at NextPharma. She checks the measurements, formulas and hardness/purity grades of many different medications. And whatever she does, she always takes responsibility. What’s more, Tanja organises works outings and summer parties, sits on the Works Council and is a member of the Representative Council for People with Severe Disabilities. Uncompromisingly dedicated. As a matter of conviction. And because she doesn’t want anything to stand in her way, Tanja values one thing above all else at NextPharma: streamlined communication channels. Without them, it would not be possible to get such important decisions right on a daily basis. Nor would it be possible to do so without dedicated employees like Tanja. We are keenly aware of this – and are delighted that Tanja has managed to achieve a new lease of life following a serious illness. With the full support of all her colleagues. And with the spirit that we have come to associate with her: strong, passionate and always looking to the future. After all, the next step is always the one that matters most.
  • Issaka, Machine Operator at NextPharma

Issaka originally comes from Niger in West Africa. He settled in Göttingen more than 20 years ago, when he came to Germany to study. Issaka now works as a Machine Operator at NextPharma, where he takes his job very seriously indeed. He knows that everything has to be just right. And that one check too many is better than one too few. It’s important to take enough time, however fast-paced and dynamic his working environment is. There’s no danger of him getting bored. Especially not with his colleagues, some of whom have become really good friends. What do they have in common? Their shared sense of humour, which creates a relaxed atmosphere that extends beyond our production facility. Whether at Christmas markets, at barbecues or in the team’s WhatsApp group. The group name proves that its members have a warm sense of humour. The name of the group? Ask Issaka – if you want to be part of this fun-loving bunch.
  • Alina, Packaging Group Leader at NextPharma

Alina was always good at chemistry and maths. And as she wanted to put her strengths to good use in her future career, she joined NextPharma in 2004 as an Apprentice Pharmaceutical Technician at the Bielefeld site. Having completed her apprenticeship, she initially worked in the Production and Forming departments. Then, in 2013, she was asked if she was ready for a new challenge. She certainly was! That year, she started retraining as an Industrial Forewoman and took on the Group Leader position in the Packaging department. With the full support of NextPharma. No ifs, no buts. The company not only contributed to the cost of the training course, but Alina also received in-house seminars to help her grow into her new role and reach new heights. Today, Alina is proud that she embarked on this journey. And she is proud of her team, with whom she overcomes every hurdle. Thanks to genuine team spirit. With people who are more than just colleagues to her.
