Facility & Plant Maintenance Supervisor – Ensuring the Heart of Quality and Safety

 

We are looking for a solution-oriented and experienced professional who is passionate about uncompromising quality and technical precision. You will be responsible for the functionality of automation systems, cleanroom facilities, purified water systems, and technical utilities in a standardized environment.

 

NextPharma Tampere has several decades of extensive experience in pharmaceutical development, commercial manufacturing and packaging of ophthalmic products.

 

 

What are we looking for?

 

You will manage a high-tech ecosystem – ranging from demanding cleanroom HVAC and pressure hierarchies to medical gas systems and PW/WFI water loops and General Site facility maintenance and services. Your work is central to ensuring compliance with strict GMP and regulatory requirements. You ensure that documentation is flawless and processes remain stable.

 

Solve and Innovate: You get to tackle technical challenges before they become problems. Proactive maintenance and continuous improvement are at the core of your daily work.

Technical Expertise: You understand the requirements of pharmaceutical manufacturing or other critical production environments (e.g., pressure differentials, filtration, validation).

Systematic Approach: You take pride in doing things right the first time and following established protocols.

Accountability: You are ready to act as an expert in high-pressure situations and lead internal and external service partners with professionalism.

 

What we hope you bring

 

  • Solid know-how in automation engineering
  • Several years of experience with automation systems and/or cleanrooms or purified water systems
  • A relevant engineering degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
  • Experience leading projects, people or operations
  • Good IT skills (f.ex. MS Project)
  • Fluent Finnish and strong English skills
  • Openness to occasional on-call duty (~1 week/month)

 

We appreciate: Willingness to travel if/when needed and experience of GMP environment.

The employment relationship is initially fixed-term for an estimated 1.5 years, however there is a good opportunity to continue. Start: As agreed, possibly already in July. Hours: 37.5 h/week, mostly daytime.
