SAP FICO Controlling Analyst (m/f/d)

What duties does this role involve?

• Work with the accounting and finance teams to understand business issues/inefficiencies, brainstorm/research potential solutions in SAP FICO and partner with IT to implement
• Act as SAP Controlling/Accounting subject matter expert, analyse issues including production support, document business requirements, support financial close, support unit testing and user acceptance testing
• Create standardised and documented system processes across Nextpharma
• Creation of training material and training of new employees or existing users in new capabilities implemented as part of projects or new releases
• Develop a global key-user community across the finance and controlling departments
• System maintenance owner for Controlling/Accounting Masterdata
• Provide support for our supporting software such as BASWARE, ECCS

What are we looking for in applicants?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Accounting or Finance or related with 2+ years of related work experience
• Very good communication skills (spoken and written) in English and German
• 2+ years as SAP FICO subject matter expert/super user or as a business system analyst
• Understanding of accounting/finance business process and system configurations
• Well organised, with ability to work structured, self-responsible and result oriented
• Assertiveness, stress resistance, and the ability to integrate different cultures and persons
• Strong analytical skills, curiosity and can keep the overview is all situations while understanding the detail
• If possible good  knowledge of ECCS and any  analytical systems linked to SAP data
• Open to travel to our sites on a per need basis (30%)
