Company Lawyer (m/f/d)


Your duties, activities and responsibilities:


  • Managing legal risk by taking responsibility for providing legal advice on all legal matters
  • Maintaining proper interactions with the internal teams and departments
  • Preparing standard commercial contracts and Terms & Conditions;
  • Drafting and reviewing customer confidentiality agreements and commercial agreements
  • Monitoring changes in the business legislative and regulatory environment
  • Dealing with correspondence within the organization and externally
  • Collaborating with outside counsel to defend organization’s rights in contract settlements, negotiations and litigation
  • Supporting business processes for customer offers/quotations
  • Maintaining and developing a central electronic and hard copy management system for confidentiality agreements and customer contracts (for German Affiliates)
  • Collaborating with all internal departments to assure legal adherence for special projects



Your Experience:


  • Good corporate/commercial knowledge
  • Experiences of company law
  • Experience of UK and US Law
  • Pharmaceutical or science industry experience
  • 5+years’ Post-qualification experience


Your Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law
  • Analytical skills and ability to understand legal concepts and translate those to non-lawyers to create practical processes, guidance and training
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills - both written & oral.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Depth knowledge of software, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Professional, well-organized and detail conscious
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • English native speaker
  • Working knowledge of German and French
